Simon Fell > Its just code > OPML

OPML Dave talks about OPML based directories. I knocked up an ASP.NET based viewer, straight forward enough, you can see it in action (its using Dave's example directory), or grab the source (C#). Couple of comments, (i) I tried to point it at the soapware.org OPML file but was getting XML parser errors on the ø entity at line 61 (my understanding of XML agree's with that). and (ii) looking at the extension on the URL to determine if a link is a sub OPML doc or an external link probably should be using a different type attribute value instead. This'll make dynamically generating OPML for intergration into directories problematic for some platforms/web hosts.
